- OSPCA The Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is the organizations whose operations include protecting and providing shelter to animals in danger in the province of Ontario.
- Canandian Kennel Club (CKC) Canadian source on dog breeds, purebred puppies, dog competitions and events, kennel club show dogs, dog ownership, training and registration.
- Humane Society of Durham Region A non-profit organization that provides compassionate care for abused, abandoned, and neglected animals in our community while they await their new beginning in life. They operate a no-kill shelter and provide care until a new home is found regardless of the time it takes. The shelter and does not receive any formal government assistance. They rely solely on the contributions of others in order to provide care and a home for the animals.

- Team Chelsea A non profit organization that provides help for lost pets and animals covering Durham Region.
